Where South African spirit meets the Scottish local
Puzapaw takes its name from the South African Zulu township slang “Puza” - meaning to drink and enjoy time with friends and family. It also carries the spirit of the Scottish “Howff”: a local pub that doesn’t try charm you… which is exactly what makes it charming.
Inside a Puzapaw Inflatable Pub, the atmosphere often starts reserved. Then cautious small talk turns into laughter, and laughter turns into stories you will be retelling for years (although accuracy may vary).
That’s What happens when South Africa’s “Puza” meets the welcoming presence of a Scottish Local; you get a place where people meet, connect and make unforgettable memories - one round at a time.
Established
The Idea was initially conceived in Cape Town in 2021 but had to wait until its founder relocated to Seattle and Puzapaw was launched in 2026.
A tribute to its founders South African and Scottish Heritage - two cultures with very different weather, but remarkably similar priorities: warm welcomes, great company and always making room for one more..
